A new plugin FanFilter is now available for free download at[url]http://www.avisynth.org/vcmohan[\url] and at www.avisynth.org/warpenterprises . This plugin tries to remove regular frequency interference in video (sometimes seen while capturing a weak TV signal) that appears as inclined bars on image. There is a discussion on this in this forum under topic "How to remove diagonal bars from video?"

I've added a Japanese plugin section (and links to descriptions at avisynth.org)!

Wilbert, I'd like to take a crack at providing better translations of the Japanese instructions for these filters. However, there's no reference to the original Japanese locations. Could you add that to the AviSynth wiki, so that I (or anyone else who knows some Japanese) might be able to help out?

WinRAR or TUGZip should both be able to open LHArc (=LZH) files...

I see that. I didn't know it could fill up! First time I've had to worry about that since joining.

I'll get to work on some translations.

I have just posted 5 new plugins along with their documentation. A short description of them and functions included are as follows:
ColorIt :- This plugin has a collection of 14 functions which are useful in coloring a black and white image or recoloring a colored image. The functions in this plugin are:

1. GaussBlur: The input image, grey scale or color, has noise and removing it enables better mask generation. GaussBlur smoothes image by convolving image with Gaussian separable coefficients.
2. MaskMaker. Creates a white or black mask depending upon the grey scale values of the image.
3. EMarker. Creates a white or black mask using various edge detection methods.
4. Morpher. Erosion, dilation, opening, closing thinning, salt & pepper, ridges and valleys functions are included. Some troublesome parts in a mask like thin strands connecting or radiating from objects etc can be got rid off by these standard morphing techniques.
5. SharpEdge. Creates pixel wide edge masks(required for coloring) or creates gradient image (useful for watershed segmentation).
6. Shift. Shifts the grey value of all pixels in an enclosed area by an amount.
7. Stretch. Stretches all values in an enclosed area by a percentage.
8. ColorDrops. Color fills masked areas, given seed points.
9. ColorLines. Colors pixel thin lines with given color
10.ColorBrush. Color fills all white (or all black) areas in a mask along a line.
11.Inlay. Color fills all areas specified by a combination of lines and masks
12.Drawlines. Draws lines on frames for limiting colorfill and other functions.
13. Pallet. While preserving original Grey scale, the finally seen color may appear to be different to that specified. This happens as only the Chromacity values of the given color is used. To get a feel of the actual values, this pallet function is useful. Also useful for cleaning input clip for watershed or recoloring work.
14. CrossFill. Using two masks coloring is done depending upon logical AND, OR and XOR values.

AdaptiveMedian : This plugin function filters noise by finding minimum, maximum and median values of a local grid and expanding to a limiting maximum size for for getting better statistics.Useful for filtering salt and pepper noise.

DeNoise : This plugin function, using global and local variance adaptively filters the noise from image. Also useful for cleaning input clip for watershed or recoloring work.

Watershed : This plugin function treating the image values as elevation, segments the image by drawing watershed lines and individual basins.

NeuralNet : This plugin implements a 3 layer classification type Artificial Neural Network. Has been tested on an edge detection task.

I have just posted a new plugin for Avisynth HistogramAdjust

This as the name implies adjusts the histogram of a frame by either equalization, or by matching or by duping with another histogram. For match or dupe options, histogram can be input as a table of values or extracted from a frame of any clip.

Full frame as well as windowed options are available.

The plugin works for RGB, YUY2 and Planar formats only.

Your work would be more valuable to the community if you would post the source code.

Oh, thanks. Not to be picky, but perhaps you can release code for all your filters?

Yes there are a few for which I did not include source code, mainly because I have a few ideas to make the functions better and it takes some time to make the changes. Meanwhile I do get ideas for a new plugin and distracted. For instance the NeuralNet at present works with Logistic activation function only. I am working to include tanh, gauss and elliot sigmoids. Once I complete that I will post it. So also for others.

The NeuralNet plugin is revamped. It now includes NeuralNetBP and NeuralNetRP. BP is for standard back propogation and RP is for Resilient Propogation RPROP (after Reidmiller and Braun). These functions now have option for logistic, alogistic, tanh, atanh, gauss, elliot and evero sigmoids for activation. Both are for classification. The first frame output has diagnostic plots of histogram and error (or any other parameter opted) to be displayed with iteration during training.
The source files are included along with compiled dll and usage html documentation.

It looks like similar to Removegrain, extending size behind 3x3 grid....

FQuiver :A new plugin isavailable for download . This plugin works in frequency domain, and has two functions FQ1Row and FQ2d.

1. FQ1Row filters data row by row of image using one dimensiona fft. It has a number of gaussian, butterworth filters which can be cascaded. In addition a filter can be custom designed.

2. FQ2d transforms whole image using 2d fft. It has Gaussian and butterworth filters.

Documentation includes some examples of application. and filters.
