That's not a correct solution. Instead, you should investigate why new version is slower with your profile. In fact, I believe latest x264 is much faster than the one come with MeGUI 2050, so the problem might come from other reasons. Can you post your profile?
EDIT: Also, this is a forum, you know. At least you should wait a day and yet don't get any answer to claim no one help you. Last edited by the_weirdo; 5th February 2012 at 17:05. |

Please enable "Show advanced settings", then go to the tab "Misc" and select "Default Settings". That will reset your profile to the default settings. In the next step go back to the "Main" tab, deselect "Show advanced settings". Select "Tuning - Film" as your deblock settings look like you want that.
If necessary (but based on your profile line it does not look like it is required) you can change the "target playback device". Try this profile. If it is too slow move the "Preset" slider to the left side (faster encoding, lower quality). Read the mouse over help for more information. |

I also updated today and it broke the program.
After update i cannot open a video after indexing. It just delivers an avisynth error DirectShowSource: couldn't open file Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported. All I'm trying to open is a uncompressed .mov for compression. Just had to go into a system backup and restore the old megui folder and everything is working fine, no errors. So the only variable that changed is the version of megui i was using - the new one somehow is broken for me |

Please provide the log of 2106 and if possible (a part of) the mov file.
You can download 2106 from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/meg...d?source=files and extract it to a new directory. Test it then with your MOV file and upload the log. |
