Different video streams with same segments possible?
Hi all,
I was asking myself one question: is there a way I could create two video streams inside a .mkv by making some segments (chapters) play for both streams and some for only one stream? For example, let's say a movie has a theatrical version and an extended version. I would like to be able to select "theatrical video stream" for the theatrical version and "extended video stream" for the extended version. I want the "extended video stream" to play the same segments as the "theatrical video stream" plus some segments which belong ONLY to the extended one. I don't want the data for the theatrical version to repeat themselves for both streams. This would be a great way of saving space and would be pretty convenient! Any ideas? Thanks faf |

Hi faf
When your source material is a BluRay, you can use my chapterEditor. The Multi-Editions-Editor(MEE) is the right tool to do this. Otherwise you create manually a chapter.xml with the right time stamps (ordered chapters). Last edited by hubblec4; 11th January 2015 at 23:05. |
