It would be nice to have a newer "x264 HD Benchmark Ver. 2.1" with latest x264 again as 3rd benchmark because things have improved quite a lot.

To give you an idea I redid the benchmark with 747, 819 (from x264.nl) and 892 (from x264.nl):

anyone interested in doing a 1080p benchmark? i'm guessing the fps would be about half of 720p. awesome benchmark though, this really just makes me want to spend the $$ on a dual xeon/skulltrail setup. i've been using ripbot264 to do bluray->avchd 1080p backups to dvdr+dl and 7-9 fps second passes are killing me!

Here really interessing result from my acer one with atom 1.6 Ghz. Will be interessing to have encoding with celeron 420 (1.6 Hz), pentuim E2140 (1.6 Ghz), sempron AM2 2800+ (1.6 Ghz), pentium M 730 (1.6 Ghz) ... to compare the core efficiency.
