Lag on Video
Hi there.
Yesterday I've reinstalled my PC after that I installed MPC-HC + CoreAVC (DXVA enabled) + LAV Filters and the 720p x264 videos were playing perfectly. I use this configuration from 2 years and it's never had any issues. Today I installed MS Office 2010 and Visual Studio Ultimate 2010 and now when playing some x264 videos the playback started to lag. Might clear up after background .NET runtime optimization completes. Also check for running auto-update routines.

There are no any .net processes. There is nothing to interfere.
I did system restore to the time before installing VS 2010 and videos are working very good. But if I undo the system restore it starts again with lagging. It seems no one has this issue with .net. Thank you for your replies. Last edited by efreitora; 22nd August 2013 at 11:32. |

Just as a last ditch effort have you made sure everything is up to date? I'm not an expert, but sometimes when I bring in new things and other things act a bit off it is because they're not running on the proper update. I think you might check the .NET processing again too because these guys know their stuff.
