Scenarist UHD Dolby Vison How to do?
Can someone explain to me what additional steps are necessary with scenarist 1.2, for 1x movie with chapter and an audio stream. Hdr goes without problems with the previous versions ... It's just about the additional steps ...

Yes, scenarist generates 3 files with extensions: mui, ves, xui, to extract the streams you can use eac3to, by selecting the main playlist:
https://www.videohelp.com/software/eac3to rename the extensions files from H265 to hevc, use the mui generator and import in the data editor, or if you prefer to drag & drop the selection into the data editor directly. |

Hello ocean,
At the moment I am stuck with the "insert of the subplay item" ... I do not know how to get to the window Subplayitem settings. In addition, when will Audio / Chapter and Sub be inserted. Only after Dolby vision is done or already at the beginning of the Data Editor / Streamtree? Last edited by wolflop; 4th October 2019 at 03:37. |

Hi, insert audio/chapter and subtitles first, then create the dolby vision track, to do this drag Clip: 00026.track_4113.hevc over SubPath#1, give it ok and it should create Enhancement layer, look at the 4 image above.

hi ocean,
Thank you for your help. Will test it as specified by you. I'll contact you if it worked. Since you have idea of scenarist ... maybe you can tell me how I can put a trailer (like Thx-trailer) before the movie, which is automatically played before the film starts. And how to convert a movie clip into a with mui-generator accepted hevc file. No one here could help me ... Best wishes wolflop Last edited by wolflop; 4th October 2019 at 03:19. |

Yes, it should work anyway, you could try the entry: Max Transfer Rate, use the LTR or HTR zones, but it is likely to get the same error, since version 1.3.1 of scenarist have solved this error:

for the moment I know TmpGE Video Mastering Work 6 does it very well. You can set GOP and many other speciment. Then you can import video through Mui Generator. TmpGE accepts almost all video files UHD and not. About trailer, have you tried to create an HDMV file and put it between FirstPlay and Menu or directly in FirstPlay folder.... depending what you need............. Hi all,
I know this is an old tutorial but someone may help. I followed it successfully, I think. However, Mediainfo doesn't indicate any Dolby Vision metadatas inside the Enhancement Layer of the .m2ts. Does it look normal? Code:
Video #1 ID : 4113 (0x1011) Menu ID : 1 (0x1) Format : HEVC Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High HDR format : SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible Codec ID : 36 Duration : 3 s 720 ms Width : 3 840 pixels Height : 2 160 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate : 25.000 FPS Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 (Type 2) Bit depth : 10 bits Color range : Limited Color primaries : BT.2020 Transfer characteristics : PQ Matrix coefficients : BT.2020 non-constant Mastering display color primaries : BT.2020 Mastering display luminance : min: 0.0001 cd/m2, max: 1000 cd/m2 Video #2 ID : 4117 (0x1015) Menu ID : 1 (0x1) Format : HEVC Format/Info : High Efficiency Video Coding Format profile : Main 10@L5.1@High HDR format : SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible Codec ID : 36 Duration : 3 s 720 ms Width : 1 920 pixels Height : 1 080 pixels Display aspect ratio : 16:9 Frame rate : 25.000 FPS Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0 (Type 2) Bit depth : 10 bits Color range : Limited Color primaries : BT.2020 Transfer characteristics : PQ Matrix coefficients : BT.2020 non-constant Mastering display color primaries : BT.2020 Mastering display luminance : min: 0.0001 cd/m2, max: 1000 cd/m2 |

BDInfo can't read the playlist. Strange...
Please find the ISO test here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/k36nw...TestY.iso/file PowerDVD can play it. Thanks for your help. Last edited by Lucius Snow; 2nd May 2023 at 23:25. |
