Any way to revert firmware of Pioneer bluray drive?

Hi,

Have a BDR-211M I stupidly updated to 1.54 version and lost UHD perks in process. Read that its impossible or blocked by manufacturer to roll back but read another older thread where the op was able to roll back the firmware of an older Pioneer DVD drive by simply appending an '/F' to the updater program: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=43200

So wonder will this method work on bluray?
