Ignition is a FREEware developped by the Katarn Corp.

Ignition optimizes the way that CD / Audio CDs / DVD are burnt by dispatching files on multiple media in order to minimize the space lost on each media. A must have for your archiving processes.

Hi, is this like a knapsack or bin packing solver?

Support 650,700 Mb CDs and DVDs
Automatically create folders for each optimized CD or create a TXT file that contains the optimized list of each CD's content.
Ability to put a bunch of files on every media (autorun, codecs...)
Ability to burn CDs/DVDs (requires CopyToDVD)
Internationalization support.

No, it means that the software can be translated (Settings->...) in many (list available on the software's web page) languages ;-)

What I normally do is compession and auto split using winrar which is quite slow, so I will give a chance to this tool.
