DSS2/FFVideoSource cause sync issues, DirectShowSource/AVCSource do not
I am trying to take video I've captured from my Hauppauge HD PVR and either convert to DVD or x264. My TS files drop frames every so often and I assume it's due to the capture device.
I will create a script in avisynth and have used several different sources to load the video. When I use DSS2 or FFVideoSource, the dropped frames cause the audio to get out of sync, but when I use DirectShowSource or AVCSource (after demuxing with DGAVCIndex), the audio is fine. I have read that DirectShow and AVC are less than ideal when doing what I want to do so I'm asking if there are other options out there or a solution to my problem. Thanks. |
