Its because you've replaced the dll from the original portable version by the latest one

btw, good news, Wilbert gave me access to megui.org. I'll be able to update the tools from the server by myself.

Kurt.noise,

Would you know why MeGUI loses the plot when it comes to calculating resizing if it's running in Wine on Linux?

I loaded a script into the script creator as the source video to check. The script's output is 960x540. When I enabled resizing the width in the GUI changed to 8 and the height changed to 3232.

So it would appear the answer is, yes, it does.

This thread is about MeGUI 6666, only 64 bits.

Try here: MeGUI: General Questions and Troubleshooting Thread

But I think than nobody is working on it. You can try update the tools by yourself.

Just noticed these updates. Thanks for keeping MeGUI plugging long. I've been managing to work around MeGUI not using the latest AVISynth internally, so hopefully this makes that a non-issue.

mkvmerge is ok now but x265 keeps asking to install whenever I start MeGUI.
I install it and when reopening MeGUI it wants to reinstall it again.
Component not found: D:\Programs\MeGUI\tools\x265\x64\x265.exe

Nah, still loops with x265 update.
I install it, then when I start MeGUI again it wants to reinstall it and all over again.

Like you can see in the image the new package don't have the x64 version and MeGUI_32 try to reinstall it.

If you really need use that MeGUI version download this package x265 and copy the x265.exe from the Win64 folder to your ...megui\tools\x265\x64 folder.

@Kurt.noise
When I update my MeGUI_32 version I found than try reinstall also Mp4Box, the new package have the mp4fpsmod folder empty and the updater delete the previous content with nothing to replace it, and remain in reinstalling status.

The same happen updating the old MeGUI 64

Sure, but with MeGUI-6666 I do not use the updater, I replaced myself all the new version to test them.

For that I say this to Kurt, to modify the packages in the server.

I haven't switched to x64 MeGUI.
I still use 32bit and I have this problem on that version.

Right, just checked and ACK. Really don't know what went wrong in those times I remembered (but as long as I am not experiencing it again, that doesn't matter).

No problem here, but this thread is about MeGUI 6666 (only 64 bits)

Tested also in MeGUI x86, where the last version in Update is 20231117 1156.0.0.0., without problems with L-SMASH-Works 20240408 v1194.0.0

For help about MeGUI x86 use MeGUI: bug reports and feature requests
