Error while opening MKV (h264) in VirtualDubMod

Hello,

First, I apalogize for my english, I hope that my explanation will be understandable.

I got errors when i try to open a MKV file containing an h264 stream.

Errors look exactly like that (found on the web):

How can i fix this ? (step by step)
I tried with an other software (forgot the name) to re-encode the stream, but it stop after few seconds, and that match the time of the first error.

I got this MKV by ripping a BR disc with AnyDVDHD and then using tsMuxer to get the video stream (this one use h264) in a mkv (sound/subtitle track are in separate files for now).

My goal is to reduce de size of the stream (25GB=>~9GB) by reducing bitrate (i want to keep MKV & h264). What is the better way for doing this ?

Thanks for your help!

I wil check when i'm back to home, but i tried MeGUI (i don't remember what was wrong, maybe it's just that i search to use h264 4.1 profil with Cabac)

VirtualDubMod is maybe not the best solution but i should be able to open the file ?

I will try HDC.
