What program would I use to rip subtitles to a word document?
Hi All,
I wanted to ask what program would I use to rip subtitles from a video with the intention of making a transcript. For context, I do plenty of video encoding, mostly my personal dvd and blurays, but I dont mess with subtitles, so I'm a bit of a loss here. And like I said above, my intention is to have the text in a word document and make a .pdf from. |

Here's how I do it:
1. Subtitle Edit or tsMuxer or MKVToolNix or gMKVExtract To extract subtitles (depending on what format your video/subtitle has) 2. Subtitle Edit Import and ocr vobsub and blu-ray image based subtitles (even from matroska/mp4 files), and DVB sub + teletext from .ts files 3. Save/export as txt or srt and then use notepad, word or pdf |
