DVDFab can't rip the DVD, just like other programs I downloaded that also promised it could copy Pirates of the Caribbean 4. In the end I used VobBlanker and blanked out the fake titles, and now I finally have a video_ts folder instead of an ISO.

And - according to Fengtao - is the only way to get rid of ALL copy protections and possible side-effects thereof. Also, on the DVDfab forums there is a thread on this movie and 2 or 3 betas ago DVDfab managed to copy it.
