trouble batch re-encoding mpeg 1 & 2 (PAL and NTSC) video into mp4 x264
Hi, I have alot of video and much of it is encoded with mpeg 1 & 2. I have been trying to find a program that supports batch encoding into x/h264 and acc but so far (using SUPER and automen frontends) almost every one of my files "breaks" (gives an error before finishing encoding). I seem to have a bit more luck with mkv containers but as mp4 is supported a bit more widely i would prefer mp4. Are there any encoders out there that are perhaps a bit less finicky? (I am assuming that perhaps there are errors in my files? this is a bit out of my league).
Any ideas or suggestions would really be appreciated. Cheers -Gaiko |
