"AI" Voice cloning: the future of dubbing ?

I recently discovered this YouTube channel where enthusiasts have posted dubbing tests carried out using so-called "artificial intelligences" (=neural networks)...

...as a mother-tongue Italian speaker I have to say that results are quite good - although still not "perfect" - but I wondered what (free) software they might have used to create them.

I suspect Applio, but I have no knowledge about VCs.

Ideas/suggestions?

OK, collected some under AUDIO section \ AI-based page \ Voice subsection for the HyMPS project.

Enjoy.

They should at least first add to various players real time LLM-accurate subtitle generation with optional translation to any language.
