Framerate changed (staxrip)?
Hey guys,
I downloaded staxrip x64 and noticed a difference (maybe) in framerate. In the x32 version the framerate according to MediaInfo was: FrameRate: 23,976(24000/1001) fps FrameRate_Original/String: 23,976 (23976/1000) fps Now it's only: FrameRate: 23,976(24000/1001) fps. I don't specify framerate, I just let staxrip to do the work. The results are the above. I use 2pass, and for filter I had Source: Automatic and Source: FFVideoSource for x32 and x64 respectively. I have noticed that in the x32 version, staxrip encodes with a framerate of 23,976 fps and then when it muxes applies 24000/1001 (as seen in MediaInfo). In the x64 version, it encodes with a framerate of 24000/1001 fps and then muxes with the same. I'm just wondering if it makes any difference in the final result (if it makes it better or something) or if it is actually the same thing. If not how can I do the same thing in x64? Note that I'm a newbie, and English isn't my first language (if there are any mistakes). I encode personal videos. Last edited by PHClouse; 6th November 2017 at 18:31. Reason: missing word |
