Is anyone using x264farm with 2 computer or more?

Just title, this question.
Is anyone have experience about x264farm?

I don't know,but that's cluster mode with x264 to encoder?

it says it only works with x264 that was built with MVSC, which has been unsupported for a long time.

it also looks like it needs to parse all of x264's options directly so it's going to be outdated on the supported options.

if you really want to cluster nowadays, it's easiest to setup avisynth in frameserving mode with TCPDeliver and have client computers connect and each encode a segment of the video
and then concatenate them all together when done.

Well, I understand that's I'll use 2 980X to trim half frame and one pc by one work.

Will the encoder perform proper rate control if the video is split up that way?

1. You create many small analyze file (per PC/segment).
2. After all encodes are finieshed you create one big anlyze file.
3. Update all small analyze file for 2nd pass.
4. No real loss in quality compared to encode on one PC.

I just think one video as one computer encode as well,
because x264 rc-lookhead and other about bitrate is be effect to quality.
