High Quality (Default) medium or slow?

I tend to use the High Quality (Default) setting when encoding but could anyone tell me if BDrebuilder uses the medium setting for High Quality or the slow setting? If it is medium then I presume the highest quality setting is very slow?

This looks like an old thread but thought I'd chip in with what I do personally. I just leave it on the automatic settings. I don't see a difference between that and "High Quality (Default)" when shrinking to a BD-25. I think in previous threads it has been said that "High Quality (Default)" is similar to x264 Medium. And yeah I think "Highest" is similar to x264 Slow.

What I am curious about - does everyone here just convert lossless to AC3 or keep the AC3 core?
