VEC: New Video Encoder GUI in the making
Hi, for over a year now i have been working on a video encoder GUI.
The project has become really big and i was thinking about publishing it for others than just myself to use and i was wondering what the best approach would be. i would like to have some sort of closed beta first with a few volunteers that want to try out my program, squash bugs and what not before i release it (hopefully on here?). Its hard for me to explain the whole scale and feature list of this so i apologize... About my Program: - it uses Avisynth as its scripting language - it uses a bit of its own scripting language to generate scripts (If then else etc) - it can be used with any and as many command line programs as wanted (the so called "Mainscript" lets you build your own encoding script routine) - you build your own menus (cropping, resizing, color correcting) with scripts the way you like it - it has a basic trimmer with fade in/fade out/cross fades etc - highly customizable - and a lot more ![]() Main Window: ![]() Avisynth Script Editor: ![]() User Input for a Filter: ![]() Main Script Editor: ![]() Trimmer: ![]() This would be my first public project so If anyone thinks this is worth publishing, is interested in helping me with testing or anything at all please contact me. Very Interesting! I like the layout and expected level of customization.
I would be interested in testing customization and workflows, but I tend to do very simple encode jobs so wouldn't be testing the full feature set. ![]()
