I tried a 'full'-build from https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ and it failed too with the 'No default whitelist set' :/
Code:
[bluray @ 0000018adf4f0540] No default whitelist set ../src/libbluray/disc/disc.c:333: failed opening UDF image G:\TestClips&Co\discs\Blu-ray\x264 BR-Demo ../src/libbluray/disc/disc.c:437: error opening file BDMV\index.bdmv ../src/libbluray/disc/disc.c:437: error opening file BDMV\BACKUP\index.bdmv [bluray @ 0000018adf4f0540] bd_open() failed bluray:G:\TestClips&Co\discs\Blu-ray\x264 BR-Demo: I/O error Cu Selur |

Your last try seems to be the most successful.
According to the libbluray source code the error "../src/libbluray/disc/disc.c:333: failed opening UDF image G:\TestClips&Co\discs\Blu-ray\x264 BR-Demo" gets triggered when the lib failed to open the path as a directory before. So maybe there is a problem with the path? Have you tried copying the folder somewhere else? Maybe somewhere relative? |

Copied "x264 BR-Demo" next to ffmpeg and called:

tried that didn't help
also the 8.3 workaround does only seem to work with the build from https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ not with the one from MBAS => will try to look more into it tomorrow. Last edited by Selur; 30th March 2024 at 21:38. |

gaynet-builds work
ffmpeg-6.1.1-full_build\bin>ffmpeg.exe -loglevel debug -i "bluray:G:\TestClips&Co\discs\Blu-ray\x264 BR-Demo" ffmpeg-6.0-full_build\bin>ffmpeg.exe -loglevel debug -i "bluray:G:\TestClips&Co\discs\Blu-ray\x264 BR-Demo" MBAS builds to not. => going to contact the MBAS folks.
