That file starts to play immediately for me. No Stalling or anything.
Forgot to mention: LAV Splitter connects to MPC-HC's internal Video Decoder(DXVA1) / MPCVideoDec.ax(DXVA1) r4153.
Disabling DXVA in MPC-HC Video Decoder or using LAV Video have no problem.
Play fine for me with MPC-HC DXVA2 or Software, cannot test DXVA1.
In any case, seems more like a bug in the decoder.

Like i explained before, nothing really changed in the splitter, except some minor ffmpeg fixes.
So I post it here.

Is 1.6.1 planned for release soon? It looks that way from the updates, it would be good news having an updated release build every few months or so.

I'll do my best to advocate for an release in next 2-3 weeks. Ivy Bridge is going to be ready afaik and we have fix applied already in trunk, so we must have release on time. Else Ivy users will have problems.

When subresync bar is enabled time is showed with more precise and that's good, but after rev3302 Status bar and OSD shows wrong time. For example if we jump to 02:45.550 status bar will show 02:46.550 of course it is fine when millisecond are below 500 and jump to 00:02:46.499 is indeed 00:02:46.499

BTW. Would it be possible to scroll down to current line in subresync automatically?

EDIT

I see now that it is not rev 3302, but it was first time when problem shows up.

1.6.1.4164 (Windows XP SP3)

https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mpc-hc/ticket/2090

MediaInfo font got a bit too small. Should be at least 1 size bigger for better readability.

https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mpc-hc/ticket/2089

The MediaInfo dialog should get resized automatically so that no horizontal scrollbar is needed. Would be much better to read this way. Maybe the maximum horizontal size should be limited to 630px tho (to avoid too large windows on 640x480 screens).

Dear user, you have a problem with the system font!
For starters, you should solve your problems on your computer.
I'm watching your correspondence on forums.virtualdub.org, there you are also trying to impose their problems developers Virtualdub.

On a properly configured PC tab with "MediaInfo" looks like this:
Windows 7

Windows Xp SP3

P.S
if I could be in your computer, then I would be able to solve your problem in 10 minutes.

You can find builds by XhmikosR at http://goo.gl/8NqfJ or my signature or tetsuo's.

@ Dstruct:

Looks like you have only the "Courier" bitmap font available. Are there possibly issues rendering TrueType / OpenType fonts, or missing alternatives (a stripped fonts collection)?

Then maybe you can do something about it http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/mpc-hc/ticket/1598

You can attach a diff to the ticket so it can be reviewed on trac itself.
P.S. just out of curiosity, maybe you know, which of the devs are so adamant against adding such an optional, not enable by default, GUI option ? since nothing has been done although everything has been provided

You do know that only Aleksoid and v0lt are doing bigger scale commits and if they haven't merged BE mod yet ... means either they're not interested in doing that or they don't feel it's ready to be merged or maybe they don't use it so they won't bother adding features stuff they won't be even using. Rest of the bunch is more or less MIA.

I don't use BE mod And don't interesting to commit this. And - we have little bug with GUI when BE mode color is disabled.

I think i found out what caused the black screens with DXVA and certain Decoder i though have no idea yet why ffdshow triggers this in MPC-HC if set in a certain Prefer order but im sure it is the cause and it's not because uncompressed rendering is active and it takes over it that's disabled but anyways its causing a black screen if i block it instead of prefer it's ok though it doesn't show up in the graph @ all that's the very strange thing about it it seems the graph build up normally but with ffdshow preferred in the order the Decoder even loaded before (in this case Cyberlinks VC-1 DXVA) fails with a black screen.

The most funny thing about it in the order Cyberlinks Decoder is even above ffdshow (preferred before ffdshow is preferred) but anyways ffdshow causes this black screen result if i block it no black screen anymore though the used Chain remains the same for both (prefer/block), though the splitter is bellow both as preferred.

Thanks for clearing that out.

So until there's some developer that is willing to work on merging of an BE mod and do what XhmikosR said on #1598, merger is out of the question.
