Good luck. I asked if anyone would be interested a few years ago -- but no takers. I've been meaning to do it myself, but whenever I have free time I use it on BD-RB itself rather than documentation.
There's an old saying in software development. Programming is like going to the bathroom -- the job isn't finished until the paperwork is done. |

Here I am, interested in such manual !
(While and after solving a task a good deal of my daily time is still spent on writing down how to get there. An example: While the old Dvd-Lab forum was still alive, active members like vapymid, antonsvideo wrote some 4000 posts each to help users find their way through features and bugs of a developing software. Me roughly 900 posts. All gone. Lots of Howto's and workarounds lost. A good manual that developed over time would not have deceased.)

A beginning
AVS Filter Editor Code:
Place filters in AVISynth plugin folder or use LoadPlugin to call filters Settings > Setup > Use AVS Filters during encoding Call filters in pop up window, i.e. RemoveGrain() Save Prefixes can be used to apply filters to specific components of movie or location of filter chain e: extras f: feature i: interlaced p: progressive a: audio m: menu r: resizing (applied after resizing, can be used in attempt to place after other automatically used filters) when using r: in a chain it must be the last prefix Example e:i:r:"filter" "Filter" will be applied on extras, that are interlaced, after resizing Note Filters may also be added to BDRebuilder.ini manually by adding AVSFilternn=Filter nn=filter number May be commented out by using # |

Maybe its time that those that use (benefit from) the software do something to help out |

There's a chance that BD-RB may be redesigned and remarketed. There are too many things it does that aren't obvious to anyone but a longtime user. So, thinking about it, now may not be the best time to develop a manual anyway. Of course, I wouldn't expect things like hidden options or filter prefixes to change.

I was thinking about doing it starting with the first screen, source and working path, file, mode etc. But based on your statement maybe it would be best to wait Last edited by jdobbs; 26th October 2016 at 23:20. |

A while back I did use the term PRO
You gotta do what you gotta do. Others are making money from inferior products while you have one of the best software packages and get nothing but good wishes. Can hardly wait for the redesigned BD_RB |

Bitcoin is a major pita!
Found this: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/...atives-paypal/ I'd be more than glad to contribute to your hard work with the one-and-only BD-RB. A bit of topic... Redesign, maybe more authoring tools sounds promising!! If you would pick up on the many features multiAVCHD has, that would be great! I especially like the menu tweaks it has. I still use it for series compilations, works like a charm, when it does'nt crash that is, which it does, a lot... ![]() But after putting in some effort it always comes through in the end. |

The problem is that it has to be something that people are familiar with and makes them feel comfortable. They hesitate to expose their money when they're not positive it is safe. They also avoid an organization that has a small footprint (what good is an account with a transaction site that isn't universally accepted). That's where big names like PayPal have the advantage.
Interestingly someone (I'm not sure whether he wants his name exposed) sent me a donation via PM as an Amazon gift card yesterday. I was very surprised and thankful. That's not a bad idea -- since almost all my donations were used to purchase test discs anyway -- and I often buy through Amazon. Last edited by jdobbs; 28th October 2016 at 17:12. |

![]() @ all, if you want to support jdobbs effort, one way to do is through gift card. If you choose this route make sure it is Amazon.com not amazon.ca or other, since gift card are not interchangeable. Also E-mail gift card to yourself first then once you get claim code, send PM to Jdobbs with it.
