Streaming madvr output
Hi all, just getting into video upscaling with madvr, frame interpolation with svp, and the like. I was wondering, is it possible to take the video renderer output and then stream it over ethernet to a remote computer? Sometimes my desktop is not as accessible for me as my laptop, yet my laptop lacks the raw power to run things like madvr and svp.

Yeah, madvr requires uncompressed (or lossless, which is 3x at best) so it's not realistic.
However lossy 100-200mbit (if you do have ac wifi) 4:2:0 1080p@60fps doesn't sound too terrible for video, so... svp might be realistic, though I don't know any programs that are usable that way (usually they have low fps and/or terrible quality). |

Ok, but then why is it so easy to stream video games through my network using something like steam in home streaming? Is it because the frames are compressed?
And based on this information, what kind of hardware specs would I need to be able to use madvr and svp on a laptop? Thanks |
