Hi!

if you've already ripped the DVDs to your hard drive - and ripped them as ONE .VOB for each - you can use recent versions of VirtualDub with its "Job Control" feature. This will allow you to apply IDENTICAL settings for all such .VOBs that you enter onto the list - and then save each with a different name....

AFAIK VirtualDub can't open VOB files by default, but there is a plugin or modded version that allow direct opening of mpeg stream.

Also you could try StaxRip or Handbrake.

Hi!

Since v.1.6.xxx, including the Fcchandler MPEG2 plugin, it has been able to do so. Additionally, both VirtualDubMOD and VirtualDubMPEG2 can open .VOBs directly...

The Fcchandler MPEG2 plugin would be the one. It's very useful for converting DVDs to DivX or Xvid (especially in bulk).
