Burn to File Question

Have been using BD Rebuilder to back to disks for some time, but now want to back up to a file that I can view using a conventional DVD player such as WinDVD. The options with ImgBurn are a disk or an ISO file, but I cannot get an ISO file to play with usual software.

Is there another burn to file option I should be using? Or is the problem the software player, and if so which is recommended?

Thanks

To play the ISO in WinDVD, you will need to mount the ISO using software like DAEMON Tools. VLC should be able to play the ISO without having to mount it.

If you just want a movie only file and not a disc image with menu, you can choose an alternative output like mkv or mp4.
