adding third ac3 to dvd
well I got a dvd with 2 audio tracks and 1 sub track
the audio tracks are english and japanese and the subtitles are english. My problem is this dvd is not sold in germany (my native language is german) and so I took my very old vhs rips out and wanted to integrate this old german ac3 into this new dvd... because the german vhs rips quite sucks in quality.. so can anyone help me with my issue? Off course I dont want to lose the menu and so on.. just adding this new audio stream. thanks in advance

Demux everything (including Celltimes.txt) with PgcDemux. Remux everything + the new audio track with Muxman. (Don't forget to load Celltimes.txt to recreate the chapter points.) Replace the original title with PgcEdit (File -> Replace VTST Titles).

Probably you'll also need to reencode the audio to fit the length, as I assume the DVDs are NTSC (because of JP) while the VHS should be PAL.
Even if they are both PAL you might need to check them before as various scenarios might be present (studio logos on/off, different cuts, FSK etc.). |
