I think that I have the same problem than MrPenguin, and I don't know why this is happening.

I am supposed to no asking why is this necessary, but can you point to some source of information so I can discover for myself?

It is logical why this happens. The information what should be revoked or unrevoked is stored on a Blu-Ray

Is there any way to "simulate" this? E.g. with by using the downloadable MKBs and... I don't know... getting libaacs to do as if it would play back a disk with one (the newest) of them?
(It's a bit annoying having to buy some newish disc just to get the drive working - in the sense of decrypting bus encryption - for old ones again.)
