Slow to open image sequence

Hello!

I've been using VapourSynth with image sequences recently (TIFF and DPX) and have noticed that it was initially opening up in vapoursynth editor or ffmpeg very quickly, but now it takes many minutes to open. This seems odd..

Has anyone come across this? I'm on Windows if it matters.

I'm assuming you're using imwri.Read ?

Source filter only ?

I see no difference in opening speed here

Transfer issues ? Corruption? What about testing another TIFF or DPX sequence from another drive ? What about other image sequences (JPG, PNG) ?

Yes, just imwri.Read is slow to open.

These are ~1 hour DPX or TIFF. I have a couple of sequences. It seems like short sequences open much faster.
