VDub question of time - F/R

Hello to everyone at this great forum,

If I could trouble you for a word of a advice. I believe 2004., the last time I’ve used this charming utility.

I just wanted to export simple static picture (BNP) + music (mp3) = mp4 video

If you would be so kind to explain this:

1) When I make such video, in my car media player (Pioneer) when I play this video, I can’t forward or reverse at all. If I do so, I can only trigger the next video/song. What option I must use in Video frame rate control:

I would like to be able to forward/reverse into material. If I’m mistaking seeking solution in video frame control, where do I look, and what exactly must I set?

2) I’m using at this machine WS2003 and I have VirtualDub 1.9.8 and 1.9.11, this is my codec list:

do I need something more?
