I still haven't been able to contact Ugreen; they haven't responded yet.
Using a 12V 5A power supply, does this Ugreen new CM257 adapter support this Asus 5.25" SATA DVD drive and can it read and write discs or no? i use Windows 10 |

https://www.seatech-eg.com/product-p...onverter-cm257
https://ugreen.lk/product/ugreen-usb...adapter-cm257/ https://www.globalbrand.com.bd/ugree...sata-converter From above link Quote:
3.5" hard drives or ISO (CD/DVD/BD) drives. [ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GLL41MA?th=1 ] 12v 5A PSU is more than enough, 12v 2A(or more) required. So, you should have no problems with it at all (assuming its not faulty).

Its just an interface to the drive you have, it will support whatever media the drive supports.
The only limitation would seem to be 12TB SSD/HDD. (Mine documented to be limited to 18TB) EDIT: I will not be posting additional replies.
