Dull colours after removing DV

im a newbie to video formats, almost all new releases are including DV with HDR nowadays, the problem is, my display only supports HDR and for some reason, these versions are very very dim in colour, so i followed a thread and removed Dolby vision, with dovi scripts, but then even tho the metadata is removed and only hdr 10 is present, the colours are still exactly the same, dull and unwatchable, how do i fix it?

please help me as soon as possible, it's been months without any progress in it.

The "DV" subforum is for the old DV format from 1995:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DV_(video_format)

If you want help with Dolby Vision (aka DoVi), you should post on the HEVC sub-forum:
https://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?f=81

I can't help you with your question, but if there is someone who can, they are there.

Also, you may want to also upload your image to an external image hosting website such as ImgBB, approval of attachments takes forever in Doom9.
