Weird lines around DVD Rip

I ripped some DVDs, and there are lines around the video on them.

Here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/Xm5nQ81

You can see the lines, they are white apart from the left one.

On the top you can see it clearly in the sky, on the right you can see it on the sky at the top right, on the bottom you can see it in the sand on the bottom left.

And on the left for some reason it's purple and a lot more noticeable.

What are these, and can you get rid of them? It's really annoying when your watching it.

(I can upload a short clip if that would be helpful)

Is this really the original .vob file?
I'm asking 'cause there's a lot of ringing and haloing so it's hard to believe that it's the original source.
Either who re-encoded or who did the transfer screwed up.
Nonetheless we can help you, but it's hard to come up with a filterchain on a single compressed frame; upload few seconds and we'll give you something back.

BorderControl or similar will take care of it. 2 pixels should be enough. But yes, there's some pretty heavy edge enhancement in that picture.
