Nice !

Hi I use AutoMKV all the time and I think it's great. Thought I would try this program but everytime I get an error message when pressing "analyze file" button. x264.exe "cannot find procedure entry point av_crc04C11DB7 in DLL file avutil-49.dll".

Anyone knows why?

One feature I always wanted in AutoMKV is to be able to remux DVD to MKV without encoding. Even remuxing TS files with subtitles into MKV would be great. Please consider this feature.

Trying XViD+MP4 but I never had the final MP4 file muxed. Only the the video (as avi) and audio (as mp4).

Rodoga, remuxing DVD to MKV is very very easy with MakeMKV. Make some search.

enjoy,
Mtz

Hi Buzz,

I've just tried generating an encode from a short (1270 frame) MPEG-2 (.MPG) source, and noticed that there's a difference between the quantity of frames listed in the "GUI" and the "Console Window": -

Cheers

i will try to explain

i got the frame count from avisynth AND
for avi -> i open input file with ffmpegsource
for d2v -> i open input file with mpeg2source
for dga-> i open input file with avcsource
for all other (mpeg too) -> i use directshowsource

x264 will show a number detected by mpeg2source, since before encoding i will "dgindex" (or dgavcdec) the source file

thanks SMD for testing my application!

could you please post a screenshot of error ? (both hdconverttox and error)

MORE IMPORTANT is H:\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB a dvd-rom unit or a ripped dvd ?
as i say in manual hdconverttox is unable to process non-ripped dvd

I still don't see anamorphic encoding support.

A suggestion, keep the version number simple.

not now, you will no found anamorphic.

simply don't resize and don't crop

version mumbering is quite easy: 0.5.88.818

0.5 mayor release
88 build release
818 current release

the newer.. the better
the biggest number, the better
