I only use single partition Linux [well, not counting SWAP partition, which I do also use, current linux Ext4 creates a sort of pretend partition instead of SWAP-FILE at end of real partition if you do not define one].
No-one else but me uses it, and I prefer to save any large data to an alternate drive/partiton of my choosing, whenever/wherever I wish.
Also on Windows I never use My Documents for anything other than temp storage.

I'll havta do a dummy/test install on a machine to see what I can get away with on ChromeOS-Flex.

EDIT: Nah, having watched Linux Tech Tips clip, I'm not ever gonna bother with ChromeOS-Flex.

For everyone still using XP, I'd like to point out an amazing project I found on MSFN and GitHub: Supermium https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/releases
It's free and open source and mostly maintained by win32ss, a Canadian guy.
What is it? Well, it's a completely backported version of Chromium 122 that runs on Windows XP x86 and x64.
It's possible to use all the features from syncing the google account and browsing the web etc. It works on modern websites, with modern certificates, it works with YouTube, BBC iPlayer etc. It's amazing.
The only thing that doesn't seem to be working is the passkeys but I guess most people aren't gonna be interested in this.
What's amazing is that this isn't limited to XP of course 'cause modern version of Chromium after 108 dropped support to anything older than Windows 10, which means that you can't run the official version on Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1.
But... of course you can run Supermium 122 'cause anything that works on XP will work on newer OS.

That would be amazing if Chromium wasn't such bollocks to begin with. Someone should tell this guy to focus his energy on backporting Firefox instead (unless someone knows a way to get the menu bar and title bar back in chromium)
