my JVC 4K TV only accepts 30Hz from PC

I have TV JVC 4K LT55VA3000 - When I connect my PC with it, it only accepts 2160p@30Hz. Why only 30Hz, why no 50Hz option on my PC display settings like it states on the TV specs?

Its not the HDMI cable - when I plug my 4K monitor with it the same HDMI cable, I get 2160p@60Hz.

When I use 1080p resolution, then it accepts 60Hz...but I want 4K@60Hz. Do I need a better TV?

JVC hasn't made any TVs in years. What you have is a Turkish Vestel, branded as JVC. It's cheap junk, really.

Try forcing the pixel format to 8 bit 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 YCbCr?
