JVC JX-T66 Titler

I wonder if anyone has some instructions of this old piece of hardware.
It appears to be functional, yet I cannot manage to make a text appear on the screen other than when creating it.
It's one of the most unintuitive piece of hardware I ever had in my hand, so I do not know whether it's an operating error or the titler is defective.

Thanks

BTW, if this is not the correct forum to post it, please move it where appropriate.

This Service Manual will be of help, it also contains Operation Manual:

Thank you, I appreciate your effort.

I already had this manual, but it does not fit the much simpler T66.
The are two sellers for this manual, but at 20/24$ I will rather dump the JVC.

Thanks again.
