It is impossible to say with any certainty "this disc will play 100% perfectly on all DVD players". Compatibility is usually better with newer players, however I do have an older Sony DVD player that doesn't really like CD-Rs, and chokes a little bit on DVD+R when the bitrate spikes, but seems to work perfectly with DVD-R.

I've noticed the same thing. The newer the player, the more likely it will play the different formats. I have an older Magnovox surround sound system that is very picky with video disks, but seems OK with most music CD's. Thanks for responding. I keep learning every day.....hopefully.
