What is the best way to convert 3DBD to sbs video in real time?

I want to convert the 3dBD to sbs, distribute it over a local LAN, and stream it locally so I can watch it on a VR device in another room.
Also, in doing so, I would like to be able to just plug and play and read the disk and not create a large intermediate file.
For simplicity of streaming, we would like to have a way to pipe it to VLC or an encoder.
Is there a way to meet the above requirements?

If not streaming, I know it is possible with madvr.
