You are using the standalone INSPECT. Go to the HELP menu in BDRB and use the INSPECT from there.

When I start encoding a pop up appears telling me that the audio is too big to fit into the fixed size and suggests crf. The same happens if i choose the 2 pass encoding with fixed bitrate (second option).

In the moment I use version 0.50.01 for alternate encoding.

additionally if i tried to upscale an imported dvd and encode it to mp4-1280*720-acc a pop up appears telling me about an h.264 error. Is it possible that's because the imported format is interlaced?
Another test with the same source but this time set to AVCHD output (mt2s file). Works OK with skipping scanning.

@jdobbs - looks like the issue is either the Video encode to alternative file formats or in rebuild stage?

You can do it, but it's not built-in.

1. Set BD-RB to BD-50 output. That will prevent reencoding.
2. Start the job.
3. When the audio/video extraction is complete, stop the job.
4. In the working folder, replace one of the audio streams with the stream you want to use. Note: The type of audio (ac3, dts, etc) must match the original, and the sample rate must be the same.
5. Continue the job. When it rebuilds it will use your audio.

The only catch with that is, if the audio isn't of the exact same frame length as the video, the audio will be or of sync

The way to fix the audio sync if it is the correct length, but has the wrong start time, would be to set the proper audio delay (positive or negative) in tsmuxer. The delay would have to be manually determined.

I've done this before for the movie only mode. Reauthor in tsmuxer with the delay set and then import into BD-RB.

It works for anything... I notice your log doesn't show a point at which you stopped and restarted. So that means you couldn't have possibly followed the instructions I listed.

Okay, if I may... I don't want to put words into JD's mouth here, but I THINK that the language difference is what the trouble is maybe.

I'll try to spell out the steps very easily so you can hopefully translate and understand. I DO speak a little Spanish, but not nearly enough for this Also, I do not know exactly how to start/stop BDRB properly as JD is saying, so I'm going to give you an alternate suggestion if that is okay. This suggestion will ONLY keep the video track and your Spanish track, but will NOT keep any of the menus or extras.

1. Run BDRB with your movie

2. As SOON as it finishes extracting the A/V tracks and starts rebuilding the structure, STOP BDRB.

3. Go to the WORKFILES folder.

4. In it you will see the video file that ends I think with .264.

5. Open TSMuxer and import that video file.

6. Using TSMuxer import the Spanish audio file that you want.

7. Use TSMuxer then to build a new BDMV (Blu-ray) folder with the video file and the new Spanish file (if you want also to include any of the other languages too, add those audio files)

8. At this point, if you ONLY want the video track and the Spanish and/or other audio tracks and that is all, then you are done and you can burn the resulting BDMV folder to disc if you want.

9. Or, if you want to compress the size from that point, import the newly made BDMV (Blu-ray) folder into BDMV and set it to output whatever size you want.

The only thing is as was said before. IF the audio and video are NOT in sync, then at # 7 above you will manually have to adjust the delay or time difference using TSMuxer BEFORE you input the result into BDRB.

Now, what JD was saying is that IF you can stop BDRB at I guess the right moment (I'm honestly not quite sure how to do that) then he is saying that you CAN simply put the new Spanish audio track right into the WORKFILES folder and I GUESS just somehow have BDRB continue rebuilding it. But, I don't know quite how to do that exactly

But, using TSMuxer, then at least you can have a chance to check the A/V sync and adjust if first. Also, using TSMuxer, you can use ANY legal audio format file for your Spanish track instead of HAVING to match the one that is already in BDRB (I think...)

I HOPE that helps somehow...

No. I mean BD-RB doesn't do it automatically as a built-in function -- you have to manually do it by stopping, replacing the file, and restarting.

3d compilations

Hi,
Impossible to make 3d compilations (when quick reauthored, I get only 2d version of my 3d sources in compilation...) ?
Also, is it possible to reduce time lap (maybe 4 seconds) between parts of the compilation when reading, as if you were reading a dual layer disk (I don't care about menu: just want to put 2 disk movie into 1 reauthored disk)?
Thanks for your help !

BD Rebuilder v0.50.03

I have updated the first post of this thread with a link to the most recent update to BD-RB (v0.50.03). Changes for this release:
Code:
- Improved prediction of audio size when auto
ALTERNATE audio bitrate an a target size is
  selected.
- Added a new audio option to the SETUP dialog
that enables use of a special type of Dynamic
Range Compression. This option will improve
some audio tracks where quieter sounds, like
conversations, can be lost due to playback
volume adjustments needed for louder sounds.
- Added a new hidden option AUDIO_DRC_FACTOR
which sets a factor for amount of Dynamic
  Range Compression. See HIDDENOPTS.TXT
- Corrected an issue with automatic ALTERNATE
audio bitrate settings when a target size
has been selected (resulting in "Audio is
  too large for target" dialog).
- Corrected an issue in which restarting from
an aborted encode while forced subtitles are
enabled might result in the subtitles not
being displayed by default. This would also
apply to ALTERNATE encodes using SupTitle.
- Corrected an issue in which forced subtitles
in multipart movie-only titles did not work
  properly.
- Added a hidden option MPEG2_DIRECTSHOW. If
set to "1" it will disable DGDECODE.DLL as
the decoder for MPEG-2 via AVISYNTH (when in
  Directshow mode) and use DirectshowSource()
instead. The default is "0" (OFF). It is
not recommended to change the default except
as required for very special circumstances.
- Corrected a problem in which it is possible,
under certain circumstances that a segment
of a multipart movie-only encode might get
flagged to keep intact while other parts
  are encoded.
- Updated the included version of X265.EXE to
  a newer release (01/08/2015).
- Other minor corrections and cosmetic fixes.

Jdobbs, thanks for the new version!

Please when you have time take a verified the possibility to force subtitles on quick-play mode.

None taken, but it's a relative 'old' post you're referring to. It's been 4-5 years blu-ray DISC first appeared if not longer, and people so call them bd-dvd
