I tried opening an MKV with H.264 video and FLAC audio. It opened and successfully muxed as a new file.
I'm not too familiar with Avidemux but I don't think one can add audio tracks from the outside. You could do what you need in Avidemux, then use MKVToolNix. Final muxing with MKVToolNix, or mkvmerge, is the recommended approach in any event. |
