ZoomPlayer A/V sync problems - MP4 AVC1 and AAC

Ah, a new computer, and another headache getting the damn codecs working together in ZoomPlayer.

I'm having issues with A/V sync with MP4 AVC1 and AAC. Plays perfectly on my old system (and QuickTime on the new system). Sync issue is there with both Cyberlink decoder (which I prefer to use) and ffdshow audio. I switched the video codec from ffdshow video to CoreAVC, but that's made no difference.

So I've run out of ideas - anyone got any in supply?

Edit: this below bit's fixed...
I'm using Vista x64. I don't seem to be able to register AVI<->AC3/DTS (avi2ac3filter.ax) which is what I had set-up on my old XP 32 system, so, hmmn, is there a solution to this?

I am currently using ffdshow MPEG4 for a number of things, and AC3Filter or ffdshow audio for most audio. However, I want to use Cyberlink audio decoder for any multi-channel audio, for the Dolby Headphone processing. From memory avi2ac3filter.ax was a necessary part of getting AC3 and DTS working.

Are you using the command line "c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32 avi2ac3filter.ax"? That's needed for 32-bit codecs in win64.

Thanks foxy! I did not know that. Working okay now.

That just leaves the A/V sync issue with MP4 and AAC to work out. Any ideas?

Well it seems that I was using MainConcept AAC on my old system, so I got round to installing Premiere Pro CS3 on the new system, and tried that.

Didn't work.

So, I'm now using
- The same video decoder (CoreAVC)
- on the same renderer (Haali)
- with the same audio decoder (MainConcept)

The sound is fine on the old system, but out of sync on the new one.

All that's different is Vista 64, a slightly newer version of ZoomPlayer, and probably whatever I'm missing

Help?
