In case of decoding main12 content is there any chance for GPU assistance in Kodi using LAV decoder set to CUVID? If I set hardware decoding to CUVID I will get "avcodec" as the active decoder. My card via CUVID already should support main12 streams without dithering the output. Why does decoding in LAV video still switch to software decoding and charge my CPU? What did I miss?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't have a directshow filter (a splitter, I think) capable of using ISOs as source, there's no way to do that.

Is there a way to watch a DVD on MPC-HC by double clicking an ISO?

Say again? Since what version of Windows that is supported? I am on Win10 Pro x64 and I'd like to test it.

i don't know for how long but you can simply double click an iso and it will be mounted as an virtual drive. maybe 7 maybe 8 not sure.

i just "digitalis" my old JA2 2 CD version.

to start the game i double click the ja2cd2.iso which get's automatically mounted as G: and than i start the ja2.exe so nothing special.

ISO mounting was added in Windows 8.

On XP/Vista/7 you can use this:
