H.264 encoded data set
I'm looking for a computer vision data set (mainly to be used for action recognition purposes) encoded in H.264. Since I will be extracting some information from the bitstream for my application, the encoding of the video is important.
All the datasets I have found so far (such as HMDB51 and Holywood2) contain videos encoded with the older MPEG-4 Part 2 (MPEG-4 Visual) standard using DivX encoder. Their bitstreams are not really suitable for my purposes so I'm looking for a newer dataset encoded with H.264 (or possible even HEVC). Does anyone know about such a video dataset? Thanks. Edit: Of course, I could re-encode the videos but re-encoding from Divx to H264 seems to mess up the bitstream for some reasons. Therefore, it doesn't seem like a feasible option. Datasets providing raw videos would also help though. Last edited by serhannn; 13th October 2015 at 11:08. Reason: Remark |
