Madvr using crossfirex

Hello everybody, I use mpc player with madvr video renderer. I use two R9 290 crossfirex and I' m wondering how I can watch video while running both GPUs cards in 100%(usage), because I now see that only one card is running.

madVR does not support crossfire or SLI at all.

Performance is actually slightly worse when Crossfire or SLI is enabled.

Even the drivers developers don't like crossfire/SLI.

If you've ever tried to independently build an app that uses multi GPU - especially if, god help you, you tried to do it in OpenGL - you may have discovered this insane rabbit hole.

And why would you want to run both GPUs at 100%?
Just find settings that give you picture quality you want. GPU usage is not quality indicator. Some more demanding settings will give you worse quality. For example, Lanczos or Spline 8 taps produces visible ringing.
Some may or may not increase subjective visual quality. For example, if you can not see a difference between NNEDI 32 neurons and 64 neurons there is no point for you to use 64 neurons, or 128.

I don't think there is anything that supports Crossfire for video rendering. Don't go more than 64 neurons.
