easiest way to do AC3->MP3

hi all,
i've heard some newbies says that BeSweetGUI is too complicated, so i thought you might wanna know about EasyBeSweet - the easiest tool in the world for transcoding ac3 into mp3/ogg.
this nice tool simply adds a new entry to your Windows Explorer shell extension, and transcoding is being done with right click on the AC3 file in windows.

this makes transcoding as easy as playbacking.

Hi !

DSPGuru suggested that I put my GUI for BeSweet here.
For me th BeSweet GUI from DD was always somewhat "overloaded" with features I didn´t need and that were IMHO too complicate for newbies. So I wrote my own GUI.

Give it a try !

Is there a way that you could have your GUI recognise if the AC3 file is 2 channel or 5.1? Most people use LFE to LR -3db on 5.1 channel sources, however you prog doesn't use it.

My GUI is only a frontend and I don´t have a clue how to check how many channels an AC3 file has.

perhaps a sticky post with all alternative gui for besweet and other dsguru tools will be welcome , and set them in order of difficulties to use (more detailled to more newbie user).

EDIT: a memory pipe way for the gui could be fine to get the % encoding . just hope dspugur could add this in besweet (dos version) else the dll is the only way to get the % value .

What i would like to see is instructions how to use the Batch process in BesweetGUI. (sorry if there is one, but i could not find it, here or at the authors site).

Thats what I was looking for when I stumbled across EasyBesweet, which makes it a bit simpler when doing 20 AC3 files at the same time.
