It's a ffmpeg's issue. It's can't normal decode some 5.1 AAC LATM streams. And - ffmpeg's developers know about it, but can't do fix for many times

It's work on stereo stream, on 5.1 also broken.

I have this problem:

I have a .m3u8 that when I open it, I can choose from different streams (5 different resolutions and bandwith) in the playlist.

My problem is that I want to put it in Favorites, but mpc-be saves the stream currently playing and not the original url.

So when I choose this channel in Favorites, I can't choose what quality I want.

Is it possible to do something about this?

Also, is it possible to add an "Open from clipboard" option, to automatically load the path/url from the clipboard?

About favorites - everything will remain as it is.
About "Open from clipboard" - i think about.

In WinXP, the main window remains a small size with the two options enabled, but the last playback size is fullscreen.

It's oprions dosn't work for fullscreen mode. Only for window.

Yes - i kinow. This was a conscious decision - disable save windows size/position when in fullscreen mode.

ffmpeg's decoder issue. ffplay also can't decode this file - many errors. You can create ticket for ffmpeg - https://trac.ffmpeg.org/.
