will it be frame accurate to use LAV decoder's Intel Quicksync option in avisynth?
I am trying to use intel quicksync to hw decode my h264 video for speed up. So far the only available source filter in avisynth I know of is by using LAV decoder's IQS option, and connect it to directshow using graphicstudionext like here:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...57#post1652157 The speed is very nice, but I was wondering whether this method was frame accurate? |

Generally, DirectShow will not be reliably frame accurate.
You can try my new frame-accurate source filter for QuickSync: http://neuron2.net/misc/dgdecim_b5.zip I offer a free DG tools license to any Doom9 member wanting to participate in the development. Just send me a PM with your valid email address, to which I will send your activation. It works pretty good already and opens everything DGDecNV can open. |
