Is there any file-hosting site where I can upload large files & then download files using any download manager without paying for any premium sort of account ?

Rapidshare.com has a rigid download limit on IP level, so people behind a Proxy server cannot download at all.

The following has served me well:

They claim to retain files for up to one year. I've been using their hosting for over 3 months, and haven't seen anything to disprove said claim, yet.

Mediafire again... (though zshare seems to be pretty reasonable).

Rapidshare, megaupload, &c really bite. Huge wait time, slow, limited # downloads, no download manager support, tons of ads, etc.
