seek within avi files created using AGK or GK
I am getting this strange behaviour where mplayer refuses to seek forward in the avi file (says try -idx option, but that doesn't work either) that I created using AGK. I went back and tried GK. Same thing. The file is well over 2GB. Is that the limit? Is there a way to surpass that limit?

Have you tried a different player?
AVI's produced by AGK or GK will have a keyframe at least once every 10 seconds, whether XviD or DivX. Most players can seek ahead, and pick up playing at the next keyframe. |
