That happened to me, too, with the MKVToolNix thread. I've had some back & forth with other people on the platform
here, and it seems that the forum software doesn't allow modification of thread titles after a certain time period. The first post in this thread was in February 2014, making it roughly 8 years, 7 months, and that's a timeframe I seem to remember from my own problems. Maybe there's a hardcoded limit of 100 months or something like that (8 * 12 + 4 = 100, don't know when you last tried to modify the topic's name).
I simply started a new thread & asked the mods to close the old one.
